Get ready for an unforgettable summer at The Wild Center’s Youth Climate Connections Retreat! This four day, three night experience hosted in Lake Placid, New York will provide opportunities for rising 9-12th grade students to participate in hands-on, engaging workshops; team build and bond with other climate change-makers from across the Northeast region; and experience the beautiful planet that we are working to protect! This year’s retreat has a special focus on building resilience amidst the climate crisis, which we will explore through the lenses of climate, community & mental health. Come curious and leave inspired & ready to take action.
