Hartford\u2019s Proud Drill Drum and Dance Corps provides youth ages 5-18 with engaging summer opportunities in performing arts education through drum, drill, and dance training. Participants learn basic drumming techniques, rhythms, marching fundamentals, movement, coordination, teamwork, and performance skills in a structured and supportive environment.<\/p>\n
Youth have opportunities to showcase their talents at community events, cultural celebrations, sporting events, parades, and other public performances throughout the summer. The program also offers educational workshops that promote leadership, self-confidence, discipline, creativity, and positive youth development.<\/p>\n
