Hartford’s Proud Drill Drum and Dance Corp

Hartford’s Proud Drill Drum and Dance Corps provides youth ages 5-18 with engaging summer opportunities in performing arts education through drum, drill, and dance training. Participants learn basic drumming techniques, rhythms, marching fundamentals, movement, coordination, teamwork, and performance skills in a structured and supportive environment.

Youth have opportunities to showcase their talents at community events, cultural celebrations, sporting events, parades, and other public performances throughout the summer. The program also offers educational workshops that promote leadership, self-confidence, discipline, creativity, and positive youth development.

By participating in meaningful arts activities and community engagement, youth gain a constructive outlet during the summer months while building skills, friendships, and a sense of pride in their accomplishments. The program welcomes beginners as well as returning participants and encourages artistic expression, teamwork, and community involvement.
