The GO program partially includes transportation for participants.  Farmington Valley Transition Academy and West Hartford Post Secondary will provide transportation, to and from Auerfarm, for special needs students for the first three weeks of the program.

From week four through week six, GO student parents will provide transportation. Transportation for the weekly field trips will be provided by bus companies and maybe school buses or coaches, depending on availability and costs.

At Auerfarm, we know that our high school students with special needs and students without, will need opportunities where they can bring their innovative thinking, unique perspectives, and other talents that can help businesses, organizations, and municipalities be more productive and competitive and at Auerfarm, we help to figuratively transport these students to grow new opportunities for the post-graduation journey.

More about our camp:

A day camp set on 120 sprawling acres of land for your child to explore, play, and learn! At the farm, your child will have the opportunity to engage with farm animals, learn gardening practices, and explore nature in a meaningful way that makes environmental connections to our daily lives. Along with these unique farm activities, children will engage in arts & crafts, sports & games, and music & drama, as one would at a typical day camp.
