More about our camp:
Kesem at Yale supports children in the greater Connecticut area who have been impacted by a parent’s cancer through a free, week-long summer camp experience and year-round peer support. While every child experiences a parent’s cancer journey uniquely – regardless of whether the parent is currently undergoing treatment, is a survivor, or has passed – there are often significant effects on children. Our programming fills a need for customized peer-to-peer support and an empowering model for growth that is not available in traditional healthcare settings.
